Obituaries, Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Mich. August 19, 1999

Florence Lucile Baldwin, 80, of rural Harrison, passed away Thursday,
August 12, 1999, at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center, Clare,
Michigan.  Florence was born May 2, 1919, in Pontiac, Michigan, the
daughter of Lynn A. and Winnie G. (Baker) Baker.
     Mrs. Baldwin had resided in the Harrison area since 1972, moving
from Clarkston.  Se was a member of the Harrison First Congregational
Church, the Harrison Quilting Club and the Long Lake Extension Club. 
Florence L. Baker was united in marriage to Harvey J. Petty on January
6, 194l in Oakland County.  Mr. Petty preceded her in death in 1967. 
She then was united in marriage to Edgar Baldwin August 5, 1976.  He
also preceded her in death in 1987.
     Surviving are two daughters, Lucille Woodard and husband Douglas of
Goodrich and Valerie Tippett of Harrison; two sons Lynn Harvey Petty of
Harrison and Larry Petty and wife Betty of Harrison; eleven
grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a brother, James Baker and
wife Dorothy of Ogden, Utah; three sisters, Millicent Mogg of Bushnell,
Florida; Ruth Potter of Roy, Utah; and Janice Olsen and husband Jerry,
also of Roy, Utah.  Also srviving are other relatives, friends and
neighbors.  Florence was predeceased by her parents and a grandchild.
    Funeral services were held Monday, August 16, 1999, at l0:30 am from
Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Rev. Robert Kauffman officiating. 
Interment was in the Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston, Michigan.
