Beth Eileen Bark, 82, of Hougton Lake and Harrison, passed away Thursday,
October 8, 1998 at King Nursing Centre, Hougton Lake.  Beth was born July
12, 1916, in St. Clair, the daughter of Samuel and Martha Grace (Belknap)
Closs.  She was united in marriage to Marvin Fred Bark on October 30, 1943
in St. Clair. Beth had resided in the Houghton Lake and Harrison areas for the
previous 20 years, coming from St. Clair.
     Surviving her are:  one son, Kenneth Joe Bark of Mt. Clemens, a
son-in-law, Larry Green of Harrison; and other relatives and friends. 
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976; her parents, a
daughter, Martha Grace Green, in 1985; two brothers and one sister.
     Services were held October 12, 1998, from Stocking Funeral Home,
Harrison, with Rev. Lee Palmer officiating.  Cremation followed at
Autumn Valley Crematory, Prudenville.
