Cleaver, Harrison, Mi, May 3, 200l Marcellus "Marc" Barlage formerly of Harrison age 90, passed away on April 25, 200l in Salt Lake City, Ut. He was born on April 16, 1911 in Detroit amd had been a resident of the Lansing area most of his life, and living in Harrison for several years. Mr. Barlage was a member of St. James Catholic Church, retired from Motor Wheel after 29 years of employment and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Irene C. and two brothers, Richard and Robert. He is survived by two sons Lawrence C. (Eileen) of Salt Lake City, Ut and Kenneth M. of Mason; grandsons, Marc (Kristin) and Brad, all of Salt Lake City, Ut. A funeral service was conducted by Fr.Alan Wakefield on Saturday, April 28, 200l, at St. James Catholic Church in Mason, Mr. & Mrs. Barlage were longtime members of St. Athanasius Church in Harrison. The remains of both Mr. & Mrs. Barlage will be laid to rest in a private interment on Thursday, May 3, in St. Athanasius cemetery.
