Obituaries from Clare Co. Cleaver, May 24, 2001

Acia William Brown was born on April 10, 1935 in Midland, the son of
Joseph and Beatrice (Sian) Brown.  On June 13, 1953,  Acia was wed to
Lula Kinkade in Midland.  Together they raised seven sons:  Acie (wife
Shirley) Brown of Harrison; Rob (wife Chris) Brown of Marion; Harvey
(wife Carol) Brown of Belleville; Charles (wife Barbara) Brown of
Harrison; P.J. Brown of Bellaire; Shane (wife Lorraine) Brown of
Harrison, and Gary Brown of Harrison.
      Acia moved to Harrison in 1983, coming from Belleville, Michigan.
He was a life member of the Huron Valley Nighthawks Motorcycle Club.
      Mr. Brown died on Saturday, May 12, 200l, at the age of 66.  He
leaves behind his seven sons, thiteen grandchildren, 13 great
grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and very good friend Hazel
Kimmel.  Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Lula (Kinkade)
Brown and three brothers.
      Services were held May 16, 200l at l:00 pm with Elder Dale Beavers
officiating.  Interment will be held in Pleasant Plains Cemetery in
Hayes Township.
      Arrangements were entrusted to Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
