Cleaver, Oct. 14, 1999 Fernand Brans, aged 77, a resident of Harrison, died on Wednesday, October 6th at his residence. He was born on January 19, 1922 in Belgium. He was a retired spot welder having worked in the automotive field. He was preceded in death by his wife on December 4, 1993. He is survived by his children Barbara (John) Extrom of Pickney, Fred (Kathy) Brans of St. Clair Shores, James Brans of Roseville and Ann (Jim) Pepin of Coleman. He was preceded in death by a son Tom in 1981. He is survived by his grandchildren Holly, Tracy, Jennifer, Sarah Shelby, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Jeremy; two sisters Yvonne "Toots" (Don) Strange and Jeanne DeSilvia; a brother Johnny Brans of St. Clair Shores. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 9th at the Kaul Funeral Home in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Interment followed at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Randy Boelter Pastor of the Christ the King Lutheran Church of Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
