Cleaver, Harrison, Mi. May 27, 1999 Leon Thomas Cooper, 54 of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 1999 at University Hospitals, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Leon was born June 16, 1944 in Ellwood, Pa, the son of Millard M. and Dorothy (Richardson) Cooper. Mr. Cooper had resided in the Harrison area since 1995, moving from Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Sharon G. Czarnecki in September, 1998 in Harrison. Surviving are his wife, Sharon of Harrison, two sons, two stepsons, three stepdaughters, two brothers, Kenneth Cooper and wife Faith of Harrison and Wade Cooper of Pennsylvania, a stepbrother, Donald Cooper and wife Charlotte of Pennsylvania, one sister, Wilma Coon and husband Henry of Lake, seven grandchildren plus other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Millard and Irven Cooper. Memorial services were held Saturday, May 22, 1999, at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Cremation has taken place.
