Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Michigan, July 29,1999
John L.Castora, age 6l of Harrison, passed away on Saturday, July 24,
1999 at his residence.  Mr. Castora was born May 23, 1938 in Warren, the
son of John and Emma E (Sherer) Castora.  John was united in marriage to
Virginia Soto on March 9, 1999 in Clare.  Mr. Castora was a member of
the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #2235, Harrison.
    Surviving John is his beloved wife, Virginia of Harrison, one son;
John Castora Jr. of Haslett, one daughter, Margo Castora of Haslett, one
step-son, Michael Soto and wife Sandra of Harrison, one step-daughter,
Cynthia Soto of Lansing, one sister, Delphine Schnupp, seven
grandchildren, one niece, Debby and two nephews; George and Tony Schupp,
plus several great-nieces and nephews.  Mr. Castora was predeceased by
his parents and a step-son Ramone Soto.     
     Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, July 27, 1999 at 10:00 am
from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Chuck Malson
officiating.  Interment was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery,
Lansing.  Arrangements were entrusted with Stocking Funeral Home,
Harrison.
