Norma Jean Chisholm, 7l, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday December l5, l998 at her residence. Norma Jean was born April l2, 1927, in Ferndale, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Amy (Rothermol) Legg. Mrs. Chisholm had resided in rural Harrison since 1993, moving from Oxford. She was united in marriage to Wallace Albert Chisholm July 7, 1944 in Berkley, Michigan. Surviving are her husband Wallace of Harrison; two daughters, Sally Schmidt and husband David of Clarkston and Fannie Ann Blaski and husband Gregory of Ortonville; three sons, Michael Chisholm and wife Linda of Troy, Joseph Chisholm and wife Joyce of lake Orion and Malcolm Chisholm and wife Kathleen of Pontiac; six grandchildren, Michael Chisholm Jr. of Auburn Hills, Marcus Chisholm of Troy, Margo Chisholm of Lake Orion, Mechelle Lain of Troy, Robert Blaski of Ortonville and Kyle Chisholm of Pontiac; one great granddaughter, Katlyn Lain of Troy; two sisters, Jeanette Evenson and husband Gerhard of Meeker, Colorado and Betty Jane Scott and husband George of St. Cloud, Florida, plus other relatives and friends. Norma Jean was preceded in death by her parents three brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 17, 1998, at ll:00 am from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Interment was in the Lincoln Township Cemetery, Lake George, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Clare County.
