Clare County Review, 1999:
Lois Louise Chedester, 73, of Lake, passed away January 3, 1999 at the
Northwoods Nursing Center of Farwell.  Lois was born on October 26, 1925
in Cotopaxi, Colorado, the daughter of Virgil and Cora (Wilson) Curtis. 
She was united in marriage to Ernest Chedester on April 24, 1952 in
Rapton, New Mexico.
   Lois is survived by her husband Ernest, five children: Norine
Buckstone of Lansing, Eugene Chedester of Lake, Corky Chedester of
Portland, Lalonie Sherman of Beaverton, Randy Chedester of Walker,
Louisiana; six brothers and sisters:  Lylia Doyle, Dorothy Zordell, both
of Dove Creek, Colorado, Glenn Curtis and Eldon Curtis, both of
Montrose, Colorado, Shirley Downing of Glenwood Springs, Colorado and
Joan Deathridge of Lahona, Colorado; 13 grandchildren, 18 great
grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
    Arrangements for cremation of Mrs. Chedester were handled by the
Coker Funeral Home of Farwell.
