The submitter has given permission to the MIGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. _____________________________________________________________________ Obituaries from Clare County Cleaver, September 23, 1999 Alfred Rae Clark, age 79, of Harrison, formerly of Royal Oak, passed away Monday, September 13, 1999, at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center, Clare, Michigan. Mr. Clark was born January l, 1920, in Detroit, the son of Alfred and Winifred (Bardon) Stolliker. Alfred had resided in Harrison since 1980, moving from Royal Oak after his retirement from General Motors as a production engineer. He was united in marriage to Evelyn V. VanMegroet June 28, 1941 in Royal Oak. Mr. Clark was a Veteran of the Army Air Force, serving during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 404, Harrison. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn of Harrison, one daughter, Colleen Ahrens of Clinton Township, three grandchildren, Patrick Ahrens, Hollie Holso and April Ahrens, two great-grandchildren, Tess Carolan and Kaitlyn Foster, plus other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held Friday,September 17, 1999, at ll:00 am from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Father Daniel Nowak O.F.M. officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison, Michigan. Arrangements were entrusted with Stocking Funeral Home.
