Robert Eugene Corbin, 7l, of Harrison, passed away October 9, 1998, at
his residence.  Bob was born July 6, 1927, in Mason, Michigan, the son
of Floyd and Gertrude (Howe) Corbin.  Mr. Corbin had resided in Harrison
area since 1984, moving from Leslie.
    Surviving are two daughters; Marlena Haefele and husband Dennis of
Barstow, California, and Margaret Bailey and husband Jeff of Ontonagon;
three sons; Robert E. Jr. and wife Susan of Harrison, James E. and wife
Susan, also of Harrison, and Gerald and wife Nancy of Jackson;
twenty-five grandchildren, one great grandchild; plus other relatives
and friends.  Mr. Corbin was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Lee and
two granddaughters, Ameber Jaefele and Audrey Corbin.  
     Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 14, 1998 at Mr.
Corbin's home with Elder Dale Beavers officiating.  Burial was in
Woodlawn Cemetery in Leslie.  Arrangements were by StockingFuneral Home,
Harrison.
