Audrey L. Carpenter, 77, formerly of Harrison, passed away Wednesday,
Sepember 9, l998 at her residence in Phoenix, Arizona.
     Audrey was born May l9, l921 in Detroit, the daughter of Thomas and
Anne (Munroe) Barclay.
     Audrey (Barclay) Carpenter was united in marriage to Ralph
Carpenter on august 12, 1939.  Audrey ran a clothing business known as
Audrey's Boutique for 25 years.
     She leaves to mourn, husband Raoph Carpenter 2 sons, Gregory and
Thomas of Arizona, l sister, Jane Mcfarlane of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, 4
grandchildren, Elizabeth Carpenter of Saugatuck, Steven Carpenter of
Clare, Michigan, Maureen Carpenter of Prescott, Arizona and Ryan
Carpenter also of Prescott, Arizona.
     There will be a Memorial Service at a later date.

Friends of Audrey Carpenter are welcome to attend the memorial service
which will be held Sunday, October ll, l998 at 2:00 pm.  Elder Dale
Beavers will hold the memorial at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints, 2246 E. Cranberry Lake Rd., Harrison.
