Obituaries from Clare County Cleaver August 19, 1999


Charlotte S. Cohorst, 59, of Lake, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 1999
at Harper Hospital, Detroit.  Charlotte was born November 10, 1939, in
Walled Lake, Michigan the daughter of John E. and Ethel (Paliter) Drew.
     Mrs. Cohorst had resided in Lake since 1995, moving from Union
Lake, Michigan.  Charlotte was united in marriage to Larry Cohorst on
December 31, 1960.
     Surviving are her husband, Larry of Lake, two sons Larry J. Cohorst
and wife Sandra of Union Lake, Edward F. Cohorst of Florida; one
daughter, Michelle R. Hoyt and husband Richard of Union Lake; one
brother, John J. Drew, also of Union Lake; two sisters, Ethel M.
Brackette and Arlene Colyer both of Wixom; six grandchildren plus several
nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a
sister, Linda Coutu in 1992.
     Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Agust 21, 1999 at 3:00
pm from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness of Harrison, located at
95l E. Clarence.  Arrangements were entrusted with Stocking Funeral
Home, Harrison.
