December 9, 1999 Mary Louise Charette, 67, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 1999 at her residence. Mrs. Charette was born October 23, 1932 in Arkansas, the daughter of Charlie and Mary (Mitchell) Fortner. Mary had resided in Harrison since 1990 moving from Flint. Mary was united in marriage to Verne Charette on March 8, 1952 in Flint. Surviving is her husband Verne of Harrison; her father, Charlie Crockett Fortner of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas; two sons, Verne Charette Jr. of Arkansas and Leonard Dewayne Charm and wife Theresa of Perry; two daughters, Bobbie Hill and husband Dennis of Arkansas; Brenda Glosch of Flint; one brother, Charlie Fortner and wife Shirley of St. Louis, Missouri; three sisters, Ruby Brown and Maize Matthew, both of St. Louis, Missouri and Marjorie Matthew of Arkansas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her mother and one sister, Shirley. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at l:00 pm from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Rev. Jerry Britton officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Stocking Funeral Home.
