Carson, 92, of Lake, formerly, of Flint, Michigan, passed away Saturday, January 23, 1999 at Timbertstone Foster Care of Remus, Michigan. Mrs. Carson was born in Davison, Michigan June 27, 1906. She married Steve Carson March 15, 1924, in Flint and they enjoyed 50 years together. Mrs. Carson was employed by A.C. Spark Plug Division of General Motors for 37 years. Upon retirement she moved to Lake and spent several winters in Arizona. Mrs. Carson greatly enjoyed travel and crocheting. She was a long time member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Clare. Surviving are her daughter Rosemary Hill of Barryton, Michigan, three grandchildre; ten great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren; dear friend and fellow raveler, Hazel Skoczylas. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Carson in 1974 and son-in-law George H. Hill. A Funeral Mass was celebrated Janary 27, 1999 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris, Michigan.
