Obituaries from Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Mich. l999

Richard Dale Carlson, 59, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, July 29,
1998, at Mid-Michigan Reiona Medical Center, Clare, Michigan.  Richard
was born February 18, 1939, in Royal Oak, Michigan, the son of Clarence
S. and Elsa E (Stott) Carlson.
     Mr. Carlson had resided in the Harrison area since 1993, moving
from Mt. Clemens.  He was graduated from Harrison Community High School
in 1960, was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #2235,
Harrison, and the Harrison Sportsman Club.  Richard D. Carlson was
united in marriage to Gloria M. Albert on October 3l, 1964, in Alma,
Michigan.
     Surviving are his wife, Gloria of Harrison; a sister Bunny Durham
of Harrison; brother Thomas Carlson of Sarasota, Florida; several niees,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
     Funeral services were held Saturday, August l, 1998 at 4:00 pm from
Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. 
Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetary, Harrison, Michigan.
