Morgan was born on January 23, 1912 in Lynn County, Michigan. He was the only son of William and Ester (Leader) Morgan. Cliff was the father of three children: sons, James of Emmett and Billy Morgan of Tennessee and daughter, Beverly Angbrandt of Port Huron. On October 23, 1964, Cliff was wed to Goldie Barbe, adding five more children to his family: Harold Miner, Betty Stanczk, Mary Owens, Viginia Caldwell and Connie Smith. Clifford moved from Royal Oak to Harrison in 1973 where he became a member of the VFW Post #l075, Trench Rats, American Legion Post #404, Disabled American Veterans, Fraternal Order of Eagles and 40 ET 8. He really enjoyed going to the clubs he belonged to and building things. His wife will miss being by his side whenever they went anywhere. Mr. Morgan died on Monday, April 30, 200l at the age of 89. He leaves behind his wife, children, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents and step son, Harold Minor. Visitation for Mr. Morgan was held on Wed., May 2 at 3-7 pm with a funeral service to celebrate his life on Thurs, May 3 at ll:00 am at St.Luke Lutheran Church with Pastor Warren Graff presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church. Interment will take place at Pleasant Plains Cemetery in Hayes Township. Arrangements were entrusted to Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
