Obituaries from the Clare County Review, January 12, 200l

Alice I. Davis, age 85, of Clare, passed away at her home on Wednesday,
January 10, 200l.  She was born the daughter of Stephen and Luthera
(Wilson)) Heller on November 16, 1915, near Clare.
      She married Donald Davis on April 19, 1936, and he preceded her in
death on December 16, 1992.  She was a lifetime member of the Farm
Bureau.
      Alice is survived her children Myron and Naomi Davis and Frank
Stupia, all of Clare; seven grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph, Dolph, Eunice and
Owen.
      Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 13, at ll:00 am
from the Sephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare, where friends may call
on Friday from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant
Memorial Gardens Cementery.  Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice of
Clare.
