Obituaries from Clare County Review:

Alene R. Davidson, 82, of rural Harrison, passed away Tuesday, March
2,1999 in Royal Oak.  Alene was born June 6, 1916 in Atlanta, Georgia,
the daughter of Robert and Nannie (Sweeney) Quirouet.
     Mrs. Davidson had resided in the Harrison area since 1966 moving
here from Eaton Rapids.  She was united in marriage to Alexander
Davidson June 6, 1934, in Detroit.  Mr. Davidson preceded her in death
on February 10, 1996.
     Surviving are two daughters; Maye Tessner of Harrison and Janet
Schroeder and husband David of Rialty, California; one son Thomas
Davidson of Covington, Kentucky, 13 grandchildren, 18 great
grandchildren 13 great great grandchildren, plus other relatives and
friends.  Alene was also preceded in death of her parents, three
brothers; Julius, Edward and Riley; and a sister Hazel.
     Funeral services were held Saturday, March 6 1999 from Stocking
Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Paul Fetzer officiating.  Interment
was in Pleasant Plains (Hayes Township) Cemetery, Harrison.  Memorial
contributions may be considered to MidMichigan Visiting Nurse/ Mid
Michigan Hospice Association of Clare County.
