Obituary from the Clare County Review

Robert Blaine Donders, 54, of Farwell, passed away December 29, 1998 at
his home in Farwell, Robert was born on February 26, 1944, the son of
Charles and Ruby (Bellinger) Donders in St. Helen, Michigan.  He was
united in  marriage to Ellen Miller on June 4, 1988 in Lansing,
Michigan.
    He was a member  of the Clare Eagles.  He retired in 1991 as a
Millwright from GM Oldsmobile of Lansing, Michigan.
    Robert is survived by his wife Ellen, Mother Ruby Kibbie of Farwell;
Children Jody Byrne of Lansing Robert and Michelle Donders of
Ortonville, Jeffery Donders of Hubert, North Carolina, Lori and David
Byrne of Lansing, Erik Donders of Niles, Ohio, Amy and Mike Blair of
Belding, Amanda Donders of Clare, and Kevin Donders residing at home. 
Brothers:  Russell and Linda Spence of Farwell, Ronald and Jackie Spence
of Leroy; sisters: Betty Waldorf of Kingsley, Rolene and Ronald Porubsky
of Farwell; Uncle Robert and Aunt Oneta Donders of Sears; Special Friend
Cathy David of Farwell; also 13 grandchildren and many other relatives
and friends.  He is also survived by his first wife, Jeanne "Patterson"
Harrington of Lansing.  He is preceded in death by his caring father
Charles Donders and loving step father Russell Kibbie.  
    Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 31, 1998 from the
Coker Funeral Home of Farwell with Elder Gloria Beavers officiating with
cremation to follow at the County Roads Cemetery in Hemlock.  Memorials
may be given in Robert's name to the Clare County Hospice and the Cancer
Foundation of Michigan.
