Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Mich

Robert Douglas Dimmer, 63, of Harrison passed away Monday, July 27,
1998, at University Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Robert was born
February 29, 1935 in Detroit, the son of Robert and Marie (Dygert)
Dimmer.
     Mr. Dimmer had resided in the Harrison area since 1979, moving from
Redford, Michigan.  He was united in marriage to the former Pauline M.
Allen on March 25, 1972, in Redford.  Robert was a member of St. Luke
Lutheran Church, Harrison, and was baptized March 3l, 1935 at St. Monica
Church, Detroit.
     Surviving are his wife Pauline of Harrison, five daughters; Linda
Dimmer of Gladwin, Debra Griggs and husband Larry of Macomb, Lori
Campbell and husband Glen of Livonia, Shari Bogusz and husband Chuck of
Sterling Heights and Tina Galasso and fiancee Gary of Harrison, four
sons; Robert P. Dimmer and fiancee Darlene of Harrison, Robert M. O'Gara
and wife Susan of England, Bobby A. Loucks of Redford and William Dimmer
and wife Jackie of Harrison.  Also surviving are twelve grandchildren,
two great-grandchildren, plus other relatives and friends.
    Funeral services were held Saturday, August l, 1998 at l0:00 a.m.
from St. Luke Lutheran Church, Harrison, with Pastor Warren Graff
officiating.  Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison, Michigan.
