JoAnn (Dalrymple) Darling was born on January 10, 1932 in Alma, the daughter of Philip and Lena (Brooks) Dalrymple. She was one of five chldren; with sisters, Jacque (husband Barry) Klippenstein, Donna Martin, Nancy (husband Ted) Lewis, and Bonnie (husband Joe) Pollok. Together with Lee Darling, she raised four children; son, Scott Darling and daughters, Toni Darling, Teri Darling and Tracy (husband Roger Gillie). JoAnn moved from Lansing to Harrison permanently in 1967. For many yars she cleaned at the American Legion Post 404 and enjoyed her cats, laying in the sun, going to the beach and picking mushrooms and blueberries. She loved going for car rides and could always be found listening to WKKM and WCMT. Mrs. Darling died on Saturday, May 16, 200l at the age of 69. She leaves behind her chldren; sisters, and grandchildren, Aron Darling, Cody Darling, Michelle Gillie and Paige Gillie. Her parents preceded her in death. There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
