David Darwin McCain, 54, Harrison, previously of Ionia, passed away January 
2, 200l at the Mid Michigan Medical Center in Gladwin, MI. He was born on 
April 3, 1946 in Ionia, MI, and was a son of the late Darwin and Margaret 
(Castle) McCain.

He was united in marriage to Tanya (Edmister) McCain in Gerlech, NV. 
Surviving family members are wife Tanya McCain of Harrison; two sons: 
Ronald (Denise) McCain of Perry, MI and Brian McCain; two daughters 
Brittany McCain and Stacy McCain all at home; two sisters, Betty (Ron) 
Jackson of Hersey, sister Debbie (Terry) Pallack of Ionia; and two 
brothers, Terry Hamilton of Orilla, Ontario and Dick (Rosemary) Hamilton of 
Orleans, MI. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Gordon 
Landis.

A Memorial Service was conducted at l:00 pm Saturday, January 27, 200l at 
the Harrison Church of God in Harrison, MI with Rev. Pastor Tom Vaughn 
officiating.. Con tributions may be made to the family of David McCain. 
Arrangements were made through Smith Family Funeral Home and Cremation 
Center, Harrison, MI.
