Doris M. Koch, age 82, of Clare, passed away Friday, March 30th,
 at her home. She was born the daughter of Alfred and Ethel
 (Penrose) Upthegrove on November 2, 1918, in Vernon Twp. of 
Isabella County. She married Paul C. Koch on February 2, 1948,
 in Clare, and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1987. She
 had attended the Clare Assembly of God Church. Doris is survived
 by her children: Richard and Nola Harrell of Clare, Pauline and 
Jim Marden of Midland, Frank and Debbie Koch of Clare, Kaye and 
Chris (Nixon) Koch of Rosebush, John and Jennie Koch of Clare,
 Jolene and Kevin Bottini of Sterling Heights, Paul C. Koch Jr 
of Clare, Steve and Pam Koch of Coleman, Kelly and John Sandel
 of Farwell, Judy Koch and Dennis Koch both of Clare, a sister,
 Barbara Wellman of Munger, 17 grandchildren, and five great 
grandchildren. Her siblings: William Earl, Walter, Ivan, Phoebe,
 and one grandchild preceded her in death. Funeral services were
 held on Tuesday, April 5th at ll:00 am from the Clare Assembly
 of God Church. Burial was in the Cherry Grove Cemetery. Memorials
 are to Mid Michigan Hospice. Stephenson-WymanFuneral Home, Inc.
 made funeral arrangements.
