Cleaver, Harrison, Mi. May 27, 1999 Alice A. Bonfield, age 75 of Rosebush passed away Sunday, May 23, 1999 in Rosebush. She was born the daughter of Edward and Adelina (Kraft) Klee on February 20,1924 in Lockport, New York. She married Charles Bonfield on October 17,1942 in Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada, and he predeceased her on April 30,1996. Alice had lived in the Rosebush area since coming from Royal Oak in 1979.She had worked in and retired from the Mt. Pleasant Walmart Deli where she had worked since 1994. She will be greatly missed by her constant and loyal companion her dog BJ. Her greatest joy was being with her family and cooking fabulous meals for them and her many friends. She was the life of the party and was known for her green thumb. Surviving Alice are 5 sons Charles E. (Mary Ellen) of Hope, William M. (Janice) of Kingman, AZ. Thomas J. (Michele) of Clare. Richard A. of Ferndale and James M. of Utica;, a daughter Sally (Frank) Brashinski of Hope, l0 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchilren; 3 sisters Myra and Gertrude of FL and Evelyn of CA, a sister-in-law Violet Manning of Mount Clemens. Alice was predeceased by a daughter Judy in 1965 and a grandchild Danielle in 1998, sisters Edna, Eleanor and Helen, brothers Harry, Melvin, Elmer and twin brother Allan. Funeral Services for Alice took place Wednesday May 26 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy Fulton officiating. Cremation took place after the service with burial in Glen Eden Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Central Michigan.
