She was born on August 14 1938 in Clio, Michigan, the daughter of Clifford and Bernice (Richardson) French. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Nona is survived by two daughters; Tammy of New York, NY and Lisa of Farwell; eight brothers and sisters; Arlene and Charles Bigelow, Vernon French, Larry French, David and Rena French and Lenus and Margaret French, all of Clio, Michigan; Geneva Milton of Wakefield, Michigan, and Joan and Walter Roberts of Farwell, along with many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Embrey has been cremated and there will be a memorial service held at the Gilmore Church of Christ. Arrangements for services were handled by the Coker Funeral Home of Farwell.
