Ernest L Bryant, age 78 of Clare, passed away Friday, February 9, 200l, at 
the Monroe Regional Hospital in Ocala, Florida. Ernest was born the son of 
George and Lenity (Fisher) Bryant on November 13, 1922 in Clare, Michigan. 
Ernest was a lifelong resident of the Clare area. He had owned and operated 
the Mobil Gas Station in Clare. He was a member of the Pettit Kapplinger 
Post of the VFW, and also belonged to the John Q. Look Masonic Lodge.

Ernest is survived by his wife, Monica, a son Bill (Glenda) of Coldwater; 
three daughters, Diane (Larry) Stanley of Clare, Vicki (Mark) Hampton of 
Ocala, Florida and Colleen Lusk of Clare; a sister Marjorie Cozze of St. 
Petersburg, Florida; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Ernest 
was predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Bill.

Services were held on Tuesday, February 13 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Dutch 
Gerdes officiating. Burial was in the Cherry Grove Cemetery. Arrangements 
by the Stephenson-Wyman Funral Home Inc. Clare.
