The submitter has given permission to the MIGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. _____________________________________________________________________ Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Michigan Ovid Lee Foote, 72, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 1998, at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center, Clare, Michigan Lee was born August 26, 1926 in Detroit, the son of Ovid Lee and Edna (Nezel) Foote. Mr. Foote had resided in the Harrison area since 1993, moving from Macomb County. He was united in marriage to Bonnie S. Cobb November 8, 1947 in Detroit. Lee was baptized at Messiah Lutheran Church, Detroit, Michigan, on September 2, 1926. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Harrison. Lee owned and operated his own carpet cleaning service in the Detroit area for twenty years. He then was employed by the Lakeshore School District in St. Clair Shores until his retirement in 1993. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie of Harrison, two daughters, Linda Burdua and husband Anthony of Macomb Township and Susan DeClark and husband Ronald of Sterling Heights, three grandchildren, Lisa Koptyra of Washington, MI; Cynthia Burdua of Grand Rapids and Anthony Burdua of Ann Arbor, two great grandchildren; Emily and Kyleigh Koptyra of Washington, MI, a niece and nephew, Gary and Deborah DeClark of Roseville, plus other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Friday, September ll 1998, at l:00 p.m. from St. Luke Lutheran Church, Harrison, with Pastor Warren Graff officiating. Cremation followed at Autumn Valley Crematory, Prudenville. Arrangements were by Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, Michigan.
