Obituaries: Francis N. Davis, 2001, Clare, Clare County, Michigan


Francis N. Davis, age 83, of Clare, passed away Thursday, June 28 at her
home. She was born the daughter of Frank and Nettie (Lutrell) Wait, on
July 30, 1917, near Hoxeyville. She had been employed with Holly
Carburetor, where she had worked in Food Service. She was a member of
the First Baptist Church in Clare where she was a member of the King's
Daughters and had been the Church custodian for several years.
"Frannie" is survived by her daughter-in-law Mona Davis of Farwell,
a sister Doris Maple of Grand Haven, two granddaughters Carole Davis and
Christina (Charles) Brown and four great-grandchildren. Her son Terry
preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, at ll:00 am from the First Baptist Church of Clare. Burial was in Clay Hall Cemetery in
Hoxeyville. The Sephenson-Wyman Funeral Home made arrangements.
