CLARE COUNTY MAN KILLED IN ACTION
Saginaw News 18 May 1945

CLARE–Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Gerow of Sheridan township, Clare county, have 
received word that their son, Pvt. Norman Gerow, was killed in action in 
France.  The family had received word in February that Norman was missing.

Pvt. Gerow’s wife, Dorothy L., of Rockwood, Mich. learned that her husband was 
killed instantly by enemy artillery fire while in his foxhole.
