Obituary from the Clare County (Michigan) July 12, 200l
Georgiz M. Hisey, 81, of Beaverton and formerly of Harrison, passed away
Saturday, June 30, 2001 at home. Georgia was born June l, 1920 in
Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Ethel Neal.
Georgia was united in marriage to Edward Hisey in July 1964 in
Indiana. Mrs. Hisey was a resident of Gladwin County for six weeks and
previously lived in Harrison.
Mrs. Hisey was a member of the American Legion Post 404, Ladies
Auxiliary and past president of the Auxiliary.
Surviving are: one son: William D. Hisey and wife Michelle of
Beaverton; two sisters: Blanche Swope of Royal Oak, Michigan, and Midge
Kerr of Casa Grande, Arizona; nine grandchildren: Shelly, Debbie,
Shari,Brenda, Michael, Michele, Kelly, Bill and Chris, fifteen
great-grandchildren, eight nieces and one nephew. Georgia was
predeceased in death by her husband one daughter, Ethel Daniels, one
son, Edward, four great-grandchildren, James, Nancy, Jessica Atherton
and Jazmine Hisey. No services will be held. Arrangements were entrusted with
Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
