Clare County Cleaver - 14 November 1999
Phyllis J. Hiles, age 69, of Midland, passed away on Friday, November
12, 1999.  She was born on June 19, 1930 in Flint, and was the daughter
of Cuono and Marjorie (Whiting) DiGenova.  She married Milburn Hiles on
December 28, 1947 in Flint and he preceeded her in death on July 27,
1991.  She lived in Midland for the past 8 years, and had lived in
Farwell and Coleman.  She was a member of the         Church of Christ
Restored in Sanford.

Survivors include her mother Marjorie DiGenova of Midland; sons:
Paul Hiles and his friend Tammy Lamerand of Farwell, Craig Hiles of
Dearborn; Daughters:  Kathy Lamberty of Blue Springs, Mo., Marcy and
Gregory Pike of Allen Park, and Lisa and Edward Herron of Midland, a
brother James and Patricia DiGenova of Houghton Lk.  Grandchildren: Kari
Bro, Matthew Lamberty, Ashley and Cassie Pike, Amanda and Megan Herron.
Great grandchilden:  Andrew, Aubrey, and Emily Bro, and Ian Lamberty.
She was preceeded in death by her husband and father, brother Ernest
DiGenova, and a sister Betty Light-Whitney.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 16 at 11 a.m. from
the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare with burial in Mt. Pleasant
Memorial Gardens.  Memorials may be made to her church or the Heart
Assn.
