Obituary from Clare County Review, August l, 1999:
Wesley Russell Hockey, of Farwell, died Monday July 26, 1999 at the
Clare Hospital.   Wesley was born on February 3, 1935, the son of Otto
and Agnes (Russell) Hockey.  He was united in marriage to Erma Wixson on
March 6, 1954 at Evart, Michigan.
     Wesley was a member of the Corning Lodge A & FM #335, and the Lake
Eagles Club.
     He is survived his wife Erma; three children: Gene and Debbie
Hockey of Lake, Carol and Rick Graham of Grand Rapids, and Judy and Gene
Rulapaugh of Clare.  He is also survived by one brother, Ron and Kathy
Hockey of Saginaw, and four sisters; Harriett Pelfrey of Kentucky,
 Emma and Steve Pnacek of McMillen, and John Russell of Midland and
Leann and Gary Schreiber of Minneapolis, Minnesota; seven grandchildren
and many other relatives and friends.
     Funeral services for Wesley were held on Friday, July 30, 1999 from
the Coker Funeral Home of Farwell with Pastor Latt Edwars officiating,
with burial in the Gilmore Township Cemetery.
