Hoskey, 76, of 227 N. Harrison Ave., passed away on November 27, 1977, at the Clare Osteopathic Hospital. she was born in Harrison on March 11, 1901, the daughter of John V. Pfannes and Eva M. Kraft Pfannes. She spent her entire life in the Harrison area. She was united in marriage to August Hoskey on April 6, 1929, in Harrison. Mrs. Hoskey was a member of the St. Athanasius Catholic Church of Harrison and a member of the Altar Society. Surviving are her husband, August of Harrison, two sons, John of Harrison and Carl of Capac, one daughter, Mrs. Beverly Zimmerman of Clare, four brothers, Edward of Troy, Sebastian (Bess of Weidman), William and Richard, both of Harrison, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1977, at 11:00 a.m. from the St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Harrison, with the Rev. Msgr. Thomas Horton officiating. Interment was in the St. Athanasius Cemetery, Harrison. Arrangements were by Coker Funeral Home, in Harrison.
