Thursday June 24, 1999: Erna Grencz Hayward, 79, of Seminole, Florida, and Harrison, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at Saint Petersburg general Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida. Erna was born June 10, 1920, in Italy,the daughter of John and Polanda (Danar) Tomba. Mrs. Hayward had resided in Harrison since 1985, moving from Sterling Heights. She was married to Edward Grencz on august 29, 1946. Mr. Grenca preceded her in death on April 15, 1978. Erna was then united in marriage to Max Hayward on November 7, 1995, in Harrison,. Surviving are her husband Max Hayward of Seminole, Florida, a daughter, Adrianne Brown and husband Leon, two sons, Timothy Grencz and his wife Cheryl and Lynn Grencz and wife Debbie, all of Harrison, six grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, plus other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at 2:00 p.m,. from Stocking funeral Home, Harrison, with Rev. Father Stephen Fillion officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Plains (Hayes Township) Cemetery, Harrison, Michigan.
