Huber, age 57, of Lake, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 21, 200l at the Mid Michigan Medical Center in Clare. Hal was born the son of Harold and Florence (Hufford) Huber on October ll, l943 in Tiffen, OH. He married the former Lois Covert on Otober 23, 1963 in Tiffin, OH. Hal had retired as a Supervisor for White Motors in Ohio. Hal had moved from Ohio to Lake in 1986. Most recently Hal had operaed the Cigarettes For Less store in Clare. Hal loved the outdoors and was an avid Bike Rider, having ridden 5,500 miles last year. Surviving Hal is his wife Lois; six sons Hal (Michele) of N.C., Jim of Farwell, John (Mindy) and Tom both of OH, Todd and Tony, both of Lake; three daughters, Sara (Jim) Frank of Corpus Christi, TX ,Nicci (Jerry) Torres of Dallas, Tx, and Heather Huber of Clare; two sisters, Mary Bietel of Charlotte, N.C., and Sallie Kuhn of Katy, TX., l0 grandchildren. Hal was predeceased by a sister Nancy and his parents. Services took place on Wednesday, April 25, at ll:00 am at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Malson officiating. Burial took place in the Freeman Twp. Cemetery in Clare County. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare.
