Kill, age 84 of Clare, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 200l at the Northwoods Nursing Center in Farwell. Hazel was born the daughter of William and Hermeul (MacGregor) Hargett on September 26, 1917, in Blysville, Arkansas. She married Woody Woodman on June 7, 1934 in Lansing; she then married Robert Kill in 1974, and he predeceased her. Hazel had lived in this area for years, coming from Lansing. Hazel is survived by five sons: Woody Jr. (Avis) Woodman of Harrison, Terry (Jody) Woodman of Lansing, Bob (Edie) Woodman of Clare, Doug (Darlene) Woodman of Tennesee, and Mike (Jody) Mixon of Mason; five daughters: Marge Starnes of Lansing, Jan (Dale) Brandon of Clare, Darlene Woodman of Perry, Harriet (Dave) Collins of Perry, and Sharon (Larry) Akers of Owosso; two sisters: Marilyn Hormus and Patsy Westervelt, both of Lansing; 56 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. Hazel was predeceased by her brother Douglas Wolfe. Services will take place on Friday, October 19 at ll:00 am at the Clare United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Owens officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home Inc. of Clare made arrangements.
