Jarois, age 71, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, November 16 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Clare. Ralph was born the son of Stanley and Mary Jarois on June 14, 1928 in Detroit. He married the former Betty Jo Watts on February 8, 1951 in Detroit, and she predeceased him on May 24, 1990. Ralph had served his country during the Korean Conflict in the Army. He had worked as a Telephone Repairman for Michigan Bell. Ralph had lived in the Harrison area coming from Royal Oak in 1984. He belonged to the Farwell American Legion being a Life Member and a Past Service Officer. Ralph also belonged to the Harrison Eagles Club. Surviving Ralph are 4 sons Randy and Gary of Royal Oak, Larry of Tempe, AZ, and Keith of Dearborn Heights, a daughter Suzanne Steele of Sterling Heights, 9 grandchildren. Services were held privately on Friday, November 19, at l0:00 a.m. at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare with Father Joseph Ryan officiating. Burial was in the Hamilton Twp. Cemetery, Harrison. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or as the Donor wishes.
