Obituary from The Clare Sentinel of August 1963

DEATH CLAIMS MARY JOYNER

        Mary A. Joyner was born April 26, 1875 at LaCross, Wisconsin 
and passed away August 22, at Clare General Hospital at the age of 88.

       She was married December 25, 1901 to Horace D. Joyner who 
preceded her in death in June 1945.

       She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth McIntosh, one
granddaugter Mrs. Paul Lapham and six grand children all of Clare, one
sister, Mrs. Tillie Lloyd of Harrison., several nieces and nephews.

       Funeral services were held August 26, at Thurston Funeral Home 
With Rev. Van Parker of the Clare Congregational church officiating and 
burial in the family in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
