Obituary from the Clare County (Michigan) Cleaver, June 14, 200l:

Janet C. Burby, age 63, of Clare (formerly Union Lake) died Wednesday,
June 6, at her home. She was born the daughter of Aloysious and Helen
(Wyzlic) Taylor on Aug. 8, 1937, in Detroit. Jan married Arnold Burby
in June of 1985, and he preceded her in death. She had worked in
transportation for Walled Lake Schools. She moved to Clare in 1995,
where she was a member of St. Cecilia Church, a member of the Women's
Guild, a Eucharistic Minister, had worked with Meal on Wheels, and had
been a Volunteer at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Clare.

Jan is survived by her children: Anthony and Rosemary Pieprzyk of
Sanford, MI, Tim and Tammy Pieprzyk of Sterling Heights, Jeff Pieprzyk
of Denver, CO, Janice and Mitchell Cosselman of LeRoy, MI, Colette and
Kevin Edward of Houston, TX; Stepsons: Ken Burby of Harrison, and
Michael Burby of Marquette, MI; Sisters: Christine Cessman of Highland,
Carol Nabocny of Milford; a brother Allen Taylor of Highland; ll
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
a sister Barbara Marin and a step-son Bill Burby.

Funeral Services were held Friday, June 8, at 3 pm from St. Cecilia
Church in Clare with burial on Saturday at noon in Commerce Twp.
Cemetery, Milford, MI. Memorials are to Mid-Michigan Hospice or the St.
Cecilia Church. Arrangements were by Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in 
Clare.
