"Bud" Keyser. Clarence Olsen Keyser, 62 of Harrison, passed away suddenly on wednesday, November 20, 1991, at the Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center, Clare. Bud was born on October 17, 1929 in Saginaw, the son of Clarence E. and Mary (Olsen) Keyser. Clarence had resided in Harrison since 1957, moving from Saginaw. He retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Company in 1979 after 32 years of employment. Bud was the first full time Michigan Bell employee in Harrison. Mr. Keyser was a member of the First Congregational Church of Harrison. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. Bud was a member of the Jastrzemski-Lelo American Legion Post in Saginaw. He was the former assistant Fire Chief of the Harrison Community Fire Department. Bud was united in marriage to Mildred Osborn on March 10, 195l, in Saginaw. Millie preceded him in death on March 13, 1974. He then married Leslie Brown on July 3, 1975 in Harrison. Surviving are his wife, Lesley of Harrison, two sons, Ted and wife Penny of Harrison and Jim and wife Karen of Holt and four grandchildren: Todd, Ty, Jaime, and Jason Keyser. Also surviving are two brothers, Nelson of Georgia and Allen of Saginaw, a sister, Alfreda Cox of Saginaw, plus other relatives and friends. Funeral Servics were held on Saturday, November 23, 1991 at l:00 pm at the First Congregational Church, Harrison, with Mr. David Murton officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison, Michigan. Memorial contribtions may be made to the St. Mary's EMS Flight Care in Saginaw or the Clare County Chapter of the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were by Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
