Obituary from Clare County Cleaver, December 9, 1999

Katherine Elizabeth Krchmar, 89, of rural Harrison, passed away at her
home on Wednesday, December 1, 1999.  Katherine was born November 1,
1910 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of John and Emma (Kovechat)
Rodenish.

Katherine E. Rodenish was united in marriage of Steve J. Krchmar January
11, 1927 in Morgantown, WV.  She and her husband moved to Harrison in
1944 and he preceded her in death in 1985.

Surviving are one son, Steve Krchmar, Jr. and wife Sue of Harrison.
Mrs. Krchmar raised a grandson, Richard Krchmar (Helen) of Harrison.
She also raised a niece, Becky Rodenish and a nephew Joseph Rodenish.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren,
other relatives and friends.  She was also preceded in death by her
parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 4, 1999 at Stocking
Funeral Home, Harrison with Elder Dale Beavers officiating.  Internment
was in Maple Grove cemetery, Harrison, MI.
