Clare County Cleaver - 4 November 1999
Amanda L. Leosh, age 90 of Farwell, passed away Tuesday, October 26,
1999 at the Northwoods Nursing Center in Farwell.  Amanda was born the
daughter of August and Mary (Gave) Schimelpfenig on March l8, l909 in
Moran, MI.  She married Ivan Leosh on December 17, 1930 in St. Ignace
and he predeceased her on January  29, 1967.  Amanda had lived in the
Clare area since coming from Moran seventy years ago.

Amanda is survived by a son Robert (Sharon) Leosh of Lake
Isabella; 2 daughters Dorothy (Laurence) Huntley of Farwell and Eleanor Hall of
Clare; a sister Viola Pulsipher of Clare; 6 grandchildren, 9 great
grandchildren and l0 great great grandchildren.

Services took place Friday, October 29, 1999 at ll:00 a.m. at the
Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory Wolfe officiating.

Burial was in the Wise Twp. Cemetery.  Arrangements by the
Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare.
