MRS. F. LOOMIS DIES IN CLARE

Funeral services for Mrs. Fernie Loomis of Clare were held today, 2 p.m. at 
the Clare Baptist Church with the Rev. Garrett Schut officiating.  Burial was 
in Cherry Grove, Clare.  Mrs. Loomis died early Sunday afternoon at her home, 
103 S. McEwan, following an illness of several years.  Born Sept. 30, 1871, 
she had been a life resident of the area.

She is survived by her husband, Fred; daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Stewart Hay of 
Clare; 3 brothers, Roy, Lewis and Rennie Thayer, all of Clare; 3 grandchildren.
