LLOYD SUCCOMBS Mrs. Tillie Lloyd was born June 2, 1879, the youngest of ten children for David and Nancy (Jane) Henderson at La Cross, Wisconsin. When she was two years old she came to Michigan with the family and has lived in Clare County all her life. She was married to Burt Lloyd on January 1, 1900, and seven sons were born to this union. She resided on the family farm home on Dunlop road until five years ago. Her husband died in 1950. She has lived at the Ted Bilky home in Harrison for five years and Three weeks ago entered the Clare General Hospital for special treatment. She passed away there Saturday April 18th, at the age of 84. Mrs. Lloyd was a member of the Clare Methodist Church, which she Attended until moving to Harrison and there she attended the Highway Tabernacle. Surviving are the seven sons, Glen, Don, Dale, Jim and Carl of Clare County, Ray of Pontiac, and Cecil of Traverse City, 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Mrs. Grace Costello of Pontiac, three nephews, William Henderson of Harrison, Earl Henderson of Vernon, Chancy Lloyd of Pontiac, three nieces, Clara Orr of Ontario, Canada, Anna H. Davis and Elizabeth McIntosh, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Thurston Funeral Home, with Rev. Donald Roberts of the Highway Tabernacle and Mrs. Leah Garchow of Clare Methodist Church officiating. Buriel in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
