Clare County Cleaver - 14 November 1999
Elon Moyer, 76, of Lake, passed away November 6, 1999.  Elon worked over
50 years as a cement finisher, was an avid fisherman, hunter, enjoyed
watching baseball, football, and playing euchre.  He was a WWII US Army
Veteran, active member of VFW, American Legion, Eagles, Rod and Gun
Club, and for many years volunteerd at YMCA Mystic Lake Campground.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia; daughters: Linda (Joseph)
Golden,
Helen Ostrander, and Emma Moyer; five grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren, brothers:  Robert (Betty) Moyer, Gene (Wilma)
Moyer, John (Marge) Moyer, Bud (Carolyn) Moyer; sisters: Elizabeth
Wieber, Beverly Nowak, Margaret Skinner, and Eleanor Ackerson.  His
dogs: Maggie and Molly.  Preceded in death by his sons, Terry and
Michael Moyer.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, November 10, 1999 at
Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home in Grand Ledge, with Chaplain Jack Green
officiating.  Contributions to the American Heart association would be
appreciated.
