Shirley Marie McLennan, age 76, of Clare, formerly of Walled Lake,
passed away Saturday, December 30, 2000.  Shirley was the beloved wife
of Richard I. McLennan, mother of Michael (Susan) McLennan, Richard
(Regina) McLennan II, Brian (Teresa) McLennan, and Lisa (Eric) Wheeler;
grandmother of Timothy (Dawn) McLennan, Dawn (Barry) Swatsenbarg,
Richard (Heather) McLennan III, Kristen McLennan, Collin Wheeler, Rylea
Wheeler, Amber McLennan, and Bryce McLennan; great grandmother of
Johnathon and Kalei; and sister    of Robert, Edward, Kenneth, Jack,
George, JennieLee, Paul, Jane, Linda and the late Neil.  Shirley is also
survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
      Services took place on Thursday, January 4 at Lynch & Sons
(Richardson-Bird Chapel) at 404 E. Liberty Street in Milford, with
Pastor Richard Pape officiating.  Burial took place in Oakland Hills
Cemetery in Novi.  Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
