Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, MI, October 7, l999

Ruth Ann Mann, age 51, of Clare, passed away, Monday, October 4, 1999 at
the Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland.  Ruth was born the daughter
of George and Arlene (Root) Thompson on October 3, 1947 in Clare.  Ruth
was a lifelong resident of the Clare area, she was a homemaker and had
belonged to the Lake Eagle Club.
    Ruth is survived by three daughters Rebecca (Timothy) Koontz of
Clare, Wanetta Grant of Clare and Shelly Longstreth of Clare; 3 brohers
Ronald (Clara) Thompson of Temple, Russell Thompson of Temple and Rex
(Lela) Thompson of Harrison; 3 sisters Barbara (Bly) Wheeler of Alma,
Bernadene Hall of Flint, and Charlene Rizor of Harrison; 7
grandchildren.  Ruth was predeceased by her parents, a brother Richard
Thompson and a sister Kaye Blackledge.
    A memorial service will take place Thursday, October 7, 1999 at 7:00
pm at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Koontz
officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday.  Memorials may be
made to the family of Ruth Mann.  Arrangements by the Stephenson-Wyman
Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare.
