Clare County Cleaver - 18 November 1999
Leon Robert Pearson, 64, of Howell, died Oct. 22 at St. Joseph Hospital,
Ann Arbor.

He was born to Jennie (Bergey) and George Pearson on December 26,
1934.  He married Gloria Jean Pattock on February 1, 1958.

Lee was a graduate of Harrison High School in 1953.  He served in
the U.S. Army and Navy.  He worked as a millwright at Ford Motor Co,
Livonia, for 40 years.  He was a member of St. John Catholic Church,
Howell and the American Legion Posts in Livonia and Howell.

Survivors include his wife; Gloria; son, Jeffrey of Howell;
daughter, Diane of Howell; three grandchildren and a sister, Dorrene
Henry of West Branch.

Funeral services were held October 25 at ll:00 a.m. at St. John
Catholic Church in Howell.  The American Legion held a service Oct. 24
at MacDonalds Funeral Home, Howell.

Burial took place in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Oseola
Township.
