They lived in Harrison near Budd Lake and worked for Spikehorn. Had a house in Saginaw on 517 Hess Ave. Uncle Bill lived with them during this time. Worked as a tool grinder at Sag Steering Geer. Bill and Rich worked for General Motors and retired from it. At one time Rich helped run a fishery for the D.N.R. It was a tourist attraction. Rich also worked for Spikehorn cutting grass and harvesting Christmas trees. Wanda and Rich retired, they cleared a place on the 80 acres given to them by grandpa. They built their home and continued to live there until both their deaths in 1999. Rich was always good with his hands. Obituary; RICHARD JOHN PFANNES The Clare County Cleaver Inc.
